AUTUMN BLAZE MAPLE

This fast growing, seedless hybrid is extremely hardy and has a very predictable fire engine red fall color. They hold their leaves well for an extended fall display. This tree can grow to 60’ high and 40’ wide in it’s maturity.

Plant in full sun and mulch from 1 foot away from the trunk out to 1 foot past the drip line of the tree. 

 
SUGAR MAPLES

This stately hardwood icon of the north woods is a slower grower, but worth the wait. It has lush green leaves providing shade in summer and gorgeous fall colors varying from yellow to orange to red. This long-lived tree can reach a height of 70’ with a 40’ wide crown in maturity. Full sun and mulch will keep this tree happy. Mulch from 1 foot from the trunk out to 1 foot past the drip line.

FLOWERING CRABS

All of our flowering crabs are selected for hardiness in zone 4 or colder and have fruit that stays on the tree through winter.

Plant in the full sun and mulch 1' from the trunk out  to 1 foot past the drip line.

Adams has a globe like shape, bright pink flowers and glossy red fruit. Leaf color is green with a slight reddish cast.

Centurion is upright in shape with rosy red flowers and pinkish red fruit. Foliage is reddish in spring and bronze-green in summer.

Donald Wyman is rounded and spreading in shape with profuse white flowers and very red fruit. Leaves are glossy dark green.

Harvest Gold is upright and full in shape with white flowers and bright yellow fruit that turns burnt orange after the first hard freeze. Foliage is dark green.
